This theme is in preparation. This page describes the planned features. Details may still change until the release in the Shopware Store.
Electronics shops have to show more than attractive product photos: the energy efficiency class next to the price, the product information sheet, the information required by the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) and the question about old-appliance take-back at purchase. Today, retailers combine a design theme with three or four separate extensions for this. ElectronicWare brings these industry features right into the theme – in one consistent design, everywhere in the shop.

📦 Features (planned)¶
Base (theme)¶
- Energy label: arrow with efficiency class A–G in the official colour scale next to the price on product pages, listings, search, sliders and in the cart. One click opens the label image. Nothing is shown without a class.
- Product information sheet: file or link to the EPREL database, EPREL registration number optionally visible.
- ElektroG information block: crossed-out wheeled bin, data deletion notice, return points and your WEEE registration number – as a CMS block.
- Technical data in tabs: description, technical data, downloads, scope of delivery.
- Filters and badges for ranges with many properties.
- Style presets and all building blocks of the shared CNK theme base (New in all CNK themes).
Business¶
- Old-appliance take-back at checkout: question only for relevant devices, answer stored on the order, visible in the administration and order email, CSV export.
- Product comparison of up to four products, differences highlighted, also on mobile, shareable link.
- Accessory bundles added to the cart together.
Pro¶
- Optional services: delivery to the room of use, installation, set-up, removal of the old appliance.
- Extended warranty via a partner (no insurance sold by the merchant).
- Simple bundle/PC configurator with compatibility rules.
⚖️ Legal note¶
ElectronicWare provides the tools to display mandatory information correctly. You maintain the content (efficiency class, label, information sheet, WEEE number, return points) yourself and have it checked legally. The theme is no substitute for legal advice.
❓ FAQ¶
Which shops is ElectronicWare made for? For retailers of consumer electronics, computers and accessories as well as home appliances – B2C and business customers.
Do I also need an energy label or comparison plugin? No. Energy label, information sheet link, ElektroG information and product comparison are part of the theme and follow its design.
Are external services loaded? No. The theme makes no requests to external font or tracking services.
When will the theme be released? After approval by Shopware in the Shopware Store.
