Charity - Donation

The Donation Organisation plugin allows you to manage and optimise donations and offer customers the ability to participate in such campaigns during checkout.

Activate Plugin

Click the icon to activate the plugin.

General Settings

  • 1) Select shop
    Select the shop.
  • 2) Activate for this shop
    Enable this option to activate donations for this shop.
  • 3) Heading
    Heading for the donation. Displayed in the checkout.
  • 4) Donation option
    Here you can set the desired donation option in the shop. (Multiple selection is possible)
    Voluntary option
    The customer selects from predefined amounts how much they want to donate.

    Percentage
    Percentage of the total order (in %).

    Rounding
    The total order amount is rounded up to the next whole number and the difference is donated to the charity of the customer's choice.
    e.g.: An order of €24.85 becomes €25.00 and €0.15 is donated.
  • 5) Percentage
    Percentage of the total order (in %).
  • 6) Donation amounts
    Values must be separated by semicolons.
  • 7) Exclude customer groups
    Exclude customer groups.
  • 8) Exclude payment methods
    Exclude payment methods.
  • 9) Show description
    Show all information about the organisation in this shop.
  • 10) Show banner
    Enable this option to display the organisation banner in the modal window.
  • 11) Show total donated amount
    Display the total donated amount.
  • 12) No donation option
    The option (no donation) is shown in the checkout.
  • 13) Make donation options collapsible
    Enable this option to hide the donation option selection in a collapsible tab in the checkout.
  • 14) Pre-select organisation?
    Organisation is pre-selected in the dropdown.
  • 15) Show donations on invoice
    Here you can set whether donations should be shown on invoices or not.
    Yes
    I want donations to be shown on the documents.

    No
    I want to send the donation receipts to customers myself. (The donation item will also be removed from the order).

    Both
    I want them on the invoices and I want to send the donation receipt to customers myself.
  • 16) Save settings

  • 1) Select shop
    Select the shop.
  • 2) Maximum donation value
    Here you can set the maximum value of a donation.
  • 3) Tax configuration
    Standard
    Uses the standard VAT rate from the general settings.

    Auto-detection
    Calculates using the highest tax rate of the current cart. With proportional calculation enabled, the donation value is calculated from the tax rates of all cart items.

    Tax-free
    No tax is calculated.
  • 4) Cancel donation
    Enable this option to cancel the donation when the order is cancelled.
  • 5) Show donation overview
    Enable this option to show the donation overview in the customer account.
  • 6) Badge type
    Choose between logo and symbol.
  • 6) Badge symbol
    Meaningful symbol for the donation.
    Displayed as a badge in the checkout.
  • 7) Save settings

Payment Methods

Some payment providers deduct a percentage from each order.
Here you can add the deduction percentage for each payment method. This will be deducted from the donation amount.

  • 1) Select shop
    Select the shop.
  • 2) Name
    Click on the name.
  • 3) Deduction
    Enter the deduction.
  • 4) Save settings

  • 1) Name
    Name of the organisation.
  • 2) Position
    Position.
  • 3) Active
    Activate organisation?
  • 4) Description
    Description of the organisation.
  • 5) Banner
    Select the organisation banner via the Media Manager. Selection is limited to one media item. (Recommended size: 768 × 120)
  • 6) Save
    Save organisation.
